Barry Manilow has announced further postponements of his Las Vegas shows due to his recovery from a lung cancer diagnosis made late last year. In an update to fans on Friday, Manilow shared positive news from a recent doctor's appointment, indicating significant progress in his recovery.
Manilow underwent surgery in December to remove a cancerous spot on his lung. This led to the rescheduling of his planned farewell tour dates initially set for January and subsequent Vegas residency dates for February and March. The Northwest U.S. leg of his tour, scheduled for April and May, was also affected.
Now cancer-free, Manilow is targeting a return to the stage in June for arena shows in the UK. This coincides with the release of his new album, 'What a Time,' his first in nearly 15 years. He also confirmed a return to his Las Vegas residency at the Westgate in July.
