Barry Manilow Reschedules Tour Due to Lung Cancer Recovery

Barry Manilow has announced the rescheduling of the first part of his upcoming arena tour due to ongoing recovery from lung cancer surgery. The 82-year-old entertainer shared the difficult news after a recent consultation with his surgeon. Despite his commitment to daily treadmill use, Manilow reported that he can only perform three songs in a row before needing to rest.

His doctor conveyed that the "Mandy" singer would not be able to complete a 90-minute performance. This recommendation comes after Manilow's early-stage lung cancer diagnosis, which he revealed in December following a bout with bronchitis. The tour dates, originally planned to commence in the coming weeks, will be postponed to ensure Manilow's full recovery.
