21 Feb
Summary
- Barry Manilow postponed tour dates following lung cancer surgery.
- He cannot sing more than three songs due to recovery needs.
- Doctors advised against a 90-minute show for the 82-year-old singer.

Barry Manilow has announced the rescheduling of the first part of his upcoming arena tour due to ongoing recovery from lung cancer surgery. The 82-year-old entertainer shared the difficult news after a recent consultation with his surgeon. Despite his commitment to daily treadmill use, Manilow reported that he can only perform three songs in a row before needing to rest.
His doctor conveyed that the "Mandy" singer would not be able to complete a 90-minute performance. This recommendation comes after Manilow's early-stage lung cancer diagnosis, which he revealed in December following a bout with bronchitis. The tour dates, originally planned to commence in the coming weeks, will be postponed to ensure Manilow's full recovery.
