Singer Barry Manilow has provided an update on his recovery following lung cancer surgery in December 2025. His surgeon recently advised that his lungs are not yet ready for the strenuous 90-minute shows he had planned. Consequently, Manilow has postponed his initial series of arena concerts, which were scheduled from February 27 through March 17.
Manilow revealed that while his heart wanted to return to performing, his body needed more time to heal. He anticipates potentially performing in Las Vegas by the end of March and resuming his arena tour in April. He shared this news with his fans, thanking them for their supportive messages and assuring them that he will return when fully recovered. The cancer was discovered early after a prolonged battle with bronchitis, with doctors confirming it had not spread and did not require chemotherapy or radiation.
