Singer-songwriter Barry Manilow has been forced to cancel several upcoming performances due to health concerns. The artist, who is 82 years old, announced on Saturday that he is rescheduling the rest of his February concerts and a significant portion of his March dates. This decision comes after a consultation with his surgeon, who advised that Manilow requires at least an additional month before he can return to performing a 90-minute show.
Manilow expressed his disappointment but acknowledged his body's need for more recovery time. He had previously disclosed his battle with lung cancer in December. The Grammy and Emmy winner is celebrated for numerous hit songs, including 'Mandy,' 'Copacabana,' and 'I Write the Songs.'
