Endemol Shine Australia (ESA), part of the Banijay group, is actively pursuing international growth. To spearhead this expansion, the company has appointed Dan Cazzola as its Senior Vice President (SVP) of Development. Cazzola will be based in Los Angeles and report to ESA's Creative Director, Elliot Spencer.
His primary responsibility will be to broaden ESA's portfolio of original English-language content and cultivate significant new intellectual property. Cazzola brings extensive experience from his previous role as SVP of Unscripted Development at Endemol Shine North America, where he contributed to successful series such as 'Deal or No Deal Island' and 'Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge'. He also played a key role in developing US adaptations for Banijay formats like 'Lego Masters'.
Most recently, Cazzola served as a consultant for Yes Yes Media, contributing to their development efforts in both the U.S. and UK. His appointment signifies a strategic move for ESA to enhance its presence and production capabilities beyond Australia, focusing on creating distinctive and globally appealing content.
