Banderas, Dawson, Sarandon in Supernatural Thriller

Antonio Banderas has joined the cast of 308 Entertainment's supernatural thriller, "Unmerciful Good Fortune." He will star opposite Rosario Dawson, Scott Eastwood, and Susan Sarandon in the film written and directed by Tirsa Hackshaw. The project is currently in pre-production.

The story centers on Maritza Cruz, a celebrity attorney played by Dawson, who takes on a sensational murder case. Her client is a young woman accused of multiple killings, who asserts she possesses psychic abilities and commits these acts to prevent greater harm. This revelation pulls Maritza into a profound moral and spiritual crisis.

Banderas will portray Pito Cruz, while Eastwood plays Paul Leslie and Sarandon is Dr. Irene Charles. The film is based on Edwin Sánchez's stage play and is being financed by Playhouse Group.

Director Tirsa Hackshaw expressed her excitement about the cast, describing the assembled talent as "staggering" and the perfect lineup for a "darkly lyrical story" that explores the boundaries of the psychological and supernatural. She noted Banderas's involvement unlocked new potentials for the film.
