Banana Ball, a sport combining baseball with high-energy entertainment, is set to captivate audiences at Dunkin' Park. The Party Animals will compete against the Indianapolis Clowns in a three-game series scheduled for Thursday, July 23, Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, all starting at 7 p.m. This event promises a departure from conventional baseball, incorporating trick plays, dancing, and extensive fan participation.

The Indianapolis Clowns, a new team in the Banana Ball circuit, pays homage to the historic Negro Leagues franchise. Notable members include former Boston Red Sox outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. and Mo'ne Davis, a former Little League World Series legend. The series also highlights local talent, with Connecticut natives Mark Smith (Party Animals) and Clark Gilmore (Indianapolis Clowns) participating.

Tickets for the event sold out rapidly via lottery, with limited resale options available at significantly higher prices. Original ticket prices ranged from $35 for general admission to $100 for VIP. The Thursday game will be broadcast on ESPN.
