Bam Margera's Comeback: Sobriety, Love, and Skateboarding

Bam Margera, formerly a prominent figure in the Jackass franchise, has embarked on a significant personal transformation. Following his departure from Jackass Forever in 2020, Margera has actively pursued sobriety and found new love, attributing much of his recovery to psychedelic experiences and a dedicated skateboarding regimen. He is no longer involved with the Jackass movies, with his participation in the latest installment limited to archival footage. Margera openly discusses his past struggles with addiction and legal battles that led to his sidelining from the franchise.

His recovery journey has been marked by significant challenges, including a controversial conservatorship and extensive periods in rehabilitation. Margera has credited his current wife, Dannii Marie, whom he married in May 2024, with being instrumental in his sustained sobriety and his return to elite-level skateboarding. He is now channeling his energy into skateboarding, viewing it as his therapy and a source of sanity, and is currently filming a documentary series for Red Bull.

Margera's earlier career, stemming from his CKY (Camp Kill Yourself) videos, laid the groundwork for the Jackass phenomenon. His rise to fame brought immense success but was later overshadowed by personal struggles, including the death of co-star Ryan Dunn, which exacerbated his reliance on alcohol. Now, Margera appears committed to a life free from drugs and drama, finding fulfillment in his renewed passion for skateboarding.
