Summary
- Channel 4 denies reports of a feud between judges.
- Nigella Lawson and Paul Hollywood are said to be getting along.
- The new season of Bake Off launches next month.

Contrary to recent tabloid reports, Channel 4 has publicly refuted claims of a feud between new Great British Bake Off judge Nigella Lawson and established judge Paul Hollywood. Kiran Nataraja, Channel 4's Director of Streaming & Content Strategy, addressed the issue at the Edinburgh TV Festival, stating that Lawson and Hollywood are getting along well.
Nataraja's comments directly countered a recent newspaper story that suggested tension between the two judges, particularly concerning Hollywood's reported use of a private helicopter for filming. Lawson's daughter, Nigel Lawson, was said to find this practice 'ghastly.'
The broadcaster shared the trailer for the seventeenth season of The Great British Bake Off, which is set to premiere next month. This upcoming season will be the first to feature Lawson, who joins Hollywood on the judging panel. Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond will continue as presenters for the series, which Channel 4 has broadcasted since 2017.
