The animated musical "Bad Fairies" has expanded its cast with the addition of British actor Serrana Su-Ling Bliss, comedian James Acaster, and prolific voice performer Dee Bradley Baker. They join previously announced stars Cynthia Erivo and Ncuti Gatwa in this subversive fairy tale adventure.
Bliss will voice Fei, Acaster will portray Stickers, and Baker will be the voice of Groundbeef. The film is being produced by Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation.
Original songs for "Bad Fairies" are being penned by Tony Award winners Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, known for "Six: The Musical." Isabella "Machine" Summers will compose the score and contribute to songwriting, with Ian Eisendrath serving as executive music producer.
The screenplay was written by Deborah Frances-White. The film is currently in production in London and is expected to be released on May 21, 2027. "The Lunar Chronicles" is the next film slated under the Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Locksmith Animation pact, with a release date of November 3, 2028.
