Bacon & Sedgwick: A New Love Story Unfolds

Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick, a beloved Hollywood couple, are set to captivate audiences once again in the upcoming romantic comedy, "The Best You Can." The film delves into the beautifully messy aspects of love and aging, a narrative that resonated deeply with the actors.

Sedgwick portrays Cynthia Rand, a New York urologist whose life is upended when her husband begins to develop dementia. Bacon plays Stan Olszewski, a security guard drifting through life, seeking connection with his estranged daughter. Their paths cross unexpectedly when Stan thwarts a robbery at Cynthia's home, igniting a deep friendship that evolves into an unforeseen romance.

"Getting to work together again is always special for us," Bacon and Sedgwick stated, emphasizing the story's honesty and relatability. Written and directed by Michael J. Weithorn, the movie premiered at the 2025 Tribeca Festival and will be available on digital platforms starting November 25.
