Bachelor Returns in 2027 Amid Franchise Uncertainty

ABC has announced that The Bachelor will return for its 30th season on March 21, 2027. This marks a significant comeback nearly two years after the conclusion of Grant Ellis' season in March 2025, which ended in his engagement to Juliana Pasquarosa before their eventual split. The network provided no further details about the upcoming season, leaving the identity of the new lead unknown.

The show's revival comes in the wake of a Bachelorette season being pulled from the air just days before its scheduled premiere. This decision was reportedly due to the public release of footage showing contestant Taylor Frankie Paul engaging in a violent incident. This event sparked considerable discussion among Bachelor Nation alumni regarding the franchise's long-term viability and potential for recovery. Some personalities expressed skepticism about the show's future, while others conveyed hope for its continued success.
