The critically acclaimed Mexican drama-thriller "On the Road" is expanding its global reach with recent distribution acquisitions. Madman Entertainment will bring the film to Australian and New Zealand audiences, while Peccadillo Pictures has secured rights for the U.K. and Ireland, and Edko Films for Hong Kong and Macau. The film previously premiered at the Venice Film Festival, where it garnered significant accolades, including the Horizons Award for best film and the prestigious Queer Lion award.
