Summary
- Emraan Hashmi reprises his role as Shivam Pandit in Awarapan 2.
- Watching the 2007 prequel is recommended for better context.
- The sequel is directed by Nitin Kakkar, unlike the first film.
Emraan Hashmi is set to reprise his role as Shivam Pandit in the upcoming film "Awarapan 2." This sequel continues the character's narrative, and while a new story unfolds, viewers are advised to watch the 2007 prequel, "Awarapan," for a deeper understanding of Shivam's journey and past traumas.
The directorial vision for "Awarapan 2" shifts to Nitin Kakkar, distinct from Mohit Suri's helming of the original. This change might introduce a different tone to the film, even with the return of Hashmi's character.
Despite a fresh storyline, the sequel is anticipated to incorporate nostalgic scenes that delve into Shivam Pandit's past. The film's success could signify a major comeback for Emraan Hashmi in Bollywood, particularly if it matches the impact of its predecessor.
