Avril Lavigne Returns: Seen at Star-Studded Party

Avril Lavigne has resurfaced after nearly a year away from the public eye, making a notable appearance at Paris Hilton's end-of-summer party. The Canadian singer, who celebrated her 42nd birthday on September 27, was pictured with Paris and Nicky Hilton, dressed in a stylish ensemble. This event marks a significant return for the pop-punk icon, who has maintained a low profile over the past year.

While Lavigne's public appearances have been sparse, she has remained active musically. Her last Instagram post in October highlighted a performance at the When We Were Young Festival. She has also been more active on X, primarily promoting merchandise. In 2025, she featured on singles like "Young & Dumb" and "77," and appeared on Yellowcard's "You Broke Me Too."

Furthermore, Lavigne recorded a cover of Alanis Morissette's "Ironic" for the Canadian film "Mile End Kicks" in 2025, which was released earlier this year to positive reviews. Her last major tour, the Greatest Hits tour, concluded in June 2025, with no upcoming shows currently listed on her website.
