Hulk's Return: Ruffalo in Doctor Doom's Story?

Questions swirl around the involvement of Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner in the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday. While the actor recently appeared as Banner in another Marvel film, directors Joe and Anthony Russo have coyly suggested his character is integral to the narrative surrounding Doctor Doom. They stopped short of confirming Ruffalo's presence, only stating that undisclosed actors are part of the film.

Set for release on December 18 as part of Phase 6 of the MCU, Avengers: Doomsday follows the events of Avengers: Endgame. The film promises a multiversal team-up featuring various hero groups, including the Avengers, Wakandans, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, and original X-Men. Notably, the directors revealed they began principal photography without a finished script, preferring a rehearsal and improvisation-based method to capture authentic performances.
