The VES Awards, held on February 25th at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, celebrated artistry and technological advancements. "Avatar: Fire and Ash" required over 3,000 visual effects shots, with the team specifically addressing the challenge of realistically rendering fire. This effort highlighted the continuous evolution of visual effects technology.
Other significant wins included "KPop Demon Hunters," which received three awards, and "Zootopia 2" for its outstanding environment design. In the television categories, "Andor" and "Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age" each took home two awards.
