Director James Cameron acknowledged the financial discussions, emphasizing that such queries should be directed to Disney leadership.

Cameron has adopted a cautious tone when discussing the future of the Avatar saga, despite plans for two more sequels. He is acutely aware of declining box office revenues for major films and rising production expenses. His ideal scenario involves continuing the Pandora narrative cost-effectively, but he is pragmatic about potential outcomes.
