Moana Star Voices DC's New Green Lantern

Auli'i Cravalho, acclaimed for her role in Moana, has been cast as the voice of Jessica Cruz in the animated series My Adventures with Superman. Cruz's character is significant as the first human female to join the Green Lantern Corps.

Her introduction is planned for the second episode of "My Adventures with Superman" season three, airing on June 20, 2026. Following this appearance, she will star in a dedicated Green Lantern spinoff series. The creators intend to use this storyline to examine how ordinary individuals perceive extraordinary super-powered beings.

The Green Lantern series is described as being inspired by a different aspect of the Toonami block than its Superman counterpart. While "My Adventures with Superman" is in pre-production, "My Adventures with Green Lantern" will focus on Jessica Cruz as she takes on the responsibilities of a Power Ring, facing ancient alien threats and overcoming personal anxieties to protect Earth.
