The inductees, including Julia Whelan, Ray Porter, and JD Jackson, have collectively performed hundreds of audiobook titles. They are being recognized for becoming as well-known as the stories they narrate.
The company is reviving the Narrator Hall of Fame on a biennial basis, with the previous induction class dating back to 2018. A ceremony is scheduled for April 8, 2026, at Audible's Minetta Lane Theatre in New York City.
To qualify, narrators must have at least 50 titles on Audible, demonstrate genre versatility, receive fan acclaim, and contribute to evolving the art of narration. In 2025, Audible listeners consumed nearly 6 billion hours of content.
