Netflix has announced new cast members for its upcoming Assassin's Creed series, with Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris, and Corrado Invernizzi joining the production. They are set to appear alongside previously confirmed actors Lola Petticrew, Toby Wallace, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford.
The series, developed by showrunners Robert Patino and David Wiener, promises a high-octane thriller. It will center on a clandestine war waged by two opposing factions. One group seeks to dictate mankind's destiny through control, while the other champions free will.
Characters will navigate pivotal historical moments, engaging in a battle for humanity's future. This adaptation arrives as the Assassin's Creed franchise, launched by Ubisoft in 2007, has achieved immense global success, selling over 230 million games. This follows a 2016 film adaptation and earlier plans for a TV series announced in 2017.
