Chinese drama "The Lead" achieved a remarkable six wins, including Best Actress for Liu Haocun. Meanwhile, Malaysia's horror feature "Malam Terlarang" garnered four awards, notably Best Feature Film and Best Actress in a Supporting Role. The awards also recognized achievements in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, and Singapore.
CNN secured 15 factual category wins. Awards chair Beverley McGarvey highlighted the region's deep talent pool, stating, "Our stories are becoming more confident, more distinctive and more influential." The large field of national winners underscores the awards' status as the world's largest showcase of Asia-Pacific content.
