As 'Bigg Boss 19' nears its finale on December 7, 2025, contestant Ashnoor Kaur has opened up about the pivotal role her mother played in her early acting career. In a candid conversation with co-contestant Pranit More, the 22-year-old actor revealed that her mother, who was previously employed as a teacher, made the selfless decision to quit her job in 2009 to fully support Ashnoor's foray into the entertainment industry.
For the next 12 years, until 2021, Ashnoor's mother dedicated herself to managing every aspect of her daughter's demanding schedule. This included learning to drive just to shuttle Ashnoor between school, auditions, and shooting sets. Ashnoor recounted, "Driving mere liye seekhi, school se set, set se school kabhi audition, kabhi look test. Kabhi time mila toh waapis school drop kar diya. Bahut kiya mumma ne career give up kar diya [She learned to drive just for me -- from school to set, and from set back to school sometimes auditions, sometimes look tests. If she found even a little time, she'd rush back to drop me at school again. My mom has done so much she gave up her own career]."
Ashnoor acknowledged that without her mother's unwavering support and sacrifice, she would not have been able to achieve the level of success she enjoys today. "Woh nahi karte, toh main aaj jaha hoon, waha hoti nahi [If she hadn't done all that, I wouldn't be where I am today]," the actor reflected.
