Ashley Tisdale's 'Toxic Mom' Drama Hits Netflix

Ashley Tisdale is set to executive produce and potentially star in a new Netflix comedy series titled 'Toxic Moms.' The show is inspired by Tisdale's personal experiences as a mother.

The half-hour series will follow a sleep-deprived new mother who becomes involved with a group of affluent and seemingly cool mothers. However, the dynamics shift as the group reveals a less welcoming side, prompting the show to explore the lengths one might go to find community.

Sabrina Jalees is writing the series, which draws from Tisdale's own essay detailing her difficulties with a celebrity mom group. Ali Wong is also attached as an executive producer and may direct if the project moves to series.
