Bhosle recalled her own marriage to music composer RD Burman, stating that despite experiencing issues, the thought of divorce was never entertained. She shared, "The most I did was go to my mother's house for a few days. But the thought of divorce never crossed my mind."
She questioned the spiritual leader about the prevalence of divorce filings, noting that couples today seem to take such drastic steps much more readily than in previous generations. Bhosle attributed this trend to love ending swiftly and couples becoming bored with each other too quickly.
Asha Bhosle's family included her children Hemant, Varsha, and Anand from her first marriage. She faced significant personal losses, including the deaths of her daughter Varsha in 2012 and her son Hemant in 2015. She married RD Burman later in life, and they shared a strong personal and professional bond.
