Arthur the Aardvark Goes Graphic Novel!

A significant milestone is being celebrated for the beloved aardvark Arthur, as the franchise marks its 50th anniversary. Two brand-new graphic novels, Arthur Makes a Comic and Arthur's Underwear, are scheduled for release on May 4, 2027. These titles represent a new format for the iconic character, aligning with the animated series' recent depiction of Arthur as a graphic novelist.

Original creator Marc Brown collaborated with award-winning creator Jarrett J. Krosoczka on these graphic novels. Brown expressed his excitement about adapting Arthur into this format, noting it was a concept he proposed when the show first launched. Krosoczka shared his pride in adapting early Arthur picture books into graphic novels, expanding the stories and illustrating the characters in this new style.
