Arshad Warsi's Double Role Debut in "Jeevan Bheema Yojana"

The dark comedy crime thriller "Jeevan Bheema Yojana," directed by Abhishek Dogra, is scheduled to release in cinemas worldwide next month. This film marks a significant milestone for lead actor Arshad Warsi, as it features him in his first double role of his career. The narrative follows Jeevan and Bheema, a common man and his dangerous lookalike, whose paths cross unexpectedly, initiating a series of chaotic events.

Sanjeeda Shaikh portrays Yojana, a resourceful wife involved in an ambitious fraud, while Vijay Raaz plays Vinayak, a mysterious character. Director Abhishek Dogra described the film as being about ordinary people making an extraordinary, catastrophic decision and facing the consequences. He highlighted Warsi's precise portrayal of both characters, which consistently surprised the crew.

Co-producer Raman Raheja expressed excitement about the film's release, noting it as the first of several planned by StarBeam Ventures Ltd. "Jeevan Bheema Yojana" also features Pooja Chopra, Bijendra Kala, and the late Atul Parchure. The film, built on themes of mistaken identity and deception, will premiere on August 28, 2026.
