Fortunately, Cynthia's co-star Ariana was more than willing to step in and assist. In an exclusive interview with E! News, Ariana firmly stated, "I'm not letting her speak. She has to rest her voice." Cynthia, though visibly hoarse, still managed to express her excitement about the full-circle moment, saying, "It's really beautiful that we're finishing here, where it started."
Ariana, clearly concerned about Cynthia's well-being, continued to shield her from speaking, telling her, "No more." The "Positions" singer then addressed the fans, saying, "She's throat-coating and we're nourishing the throat. We're going to make it work and we're really sorry that this is how it is. We're sorry and we love you guys so much. Thank you for understanding. There's only so much the human body can do."
