Ariana Grande Moved to Tears by Surprise Call from Sarah Jessica Parker

On October 24th, 2025, singer Ariana Grande, 32, appeared on the Shut Up Evan podcast and was surprised by host Evan Ross Katz with a voicemail from iconic actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 60. Parker expressed her admiration for Grande's talent and asked about her childhood aspirations to become an actor.

Grande was visibly emotional, saying she was a "huge fan" of Parker and couldn't believe the actress knew who she was. In her response, Grande explained that the "fame element" of her career has been "peculiar and hard to navigate," especially as someone who "feels everything." She acknowledged that while the fame was unexpected, her true passion has always been the "art and singing and laughter and comedy and performing and acting."

Grande concluded by saying she's "proud" of the work she's done to separate herself from the fame, but she's still "figuring it out." The singer is currently gearing up for the release of her new project, Wicked: For Good, on November 21st, 2025, and will embark on her highly anticipated Eternal Sunshine Tour in March 2026.
