In October 2025, Argentinian production company Zoelle is preparing to debut its new medical drama series 'Gasp' at the prestigious Ventana Sur film market in Buenos Aires from December 1-5. The series, described as "raw and intimate," is set in a chaotic primary care clinic on the outskirts of the Argentinian capital and explores themes of connection, hope, and resilience.

Showrunner Sabrina Farji, who is also the vice president of the Argentine Academy of Film and Cinematographic Arts, says 'Gasp' is inspired by successful American medical dramas like 'Grey's Anatomy' and 'New Amsterdam,' blending their prestige TV sensibilities with the social realism and emotional intensity of Farji's previous Argentinian hits 'Fronteras' and 'El Paraíso.' The production model aims to maximize efficiency and impact, with most of the series shot in a single interior location.
