Mohammad Touqir Islam directed, produced, wrote, and shot "Delupi." Set in a Bangladeshi village, the story captures the devastation following a flood and political unrest. It focuses on the romance of Partha and Nupur, threatened by a local operator's conspiracy against an activist. The film aims to inspire community action for rebuilding and protection.
Kashyap expressed that "Delupi" is "very humane" and resonates with him, seeing the village's struggle as a metaphor for national reconstruction. He stated that the film moved him profoundly. "Delupi" is a production of Bangladesh-based Footprint Film Production.
