An incredible find on Antiques Roadshow left a guest astonished after a book bought for a mere 20p was appraised at £1,400. The BBC programme visited Beaumaris Castle in Anglesey, North Wales, where book specialist Clive Farahar examined a rare edition of a Winnie the Pooh book.
The book's owner recounted how her mother had purchased it from a charity shop, and it had remained in the house for years. Farahar confirmed it was a gorgeous copy, despite a slightly torn dust wrapper, and revealed its significant value, much to the guest's surprise.
