Filmmaker Anthony Chen is set to release his latest cinematic work, "We Are All Strangers," the concluding chapter of his "Growing Up" trilogy. This project marks the final installment following the critically acclaimed "Ilo Ilo" and "Wet Season."
The new film reunites Chen with his longtime collaborators, actors Yeo Yann Yann and Koh Jia Ler. Chen expressed the personal significance of this reunion, noting the actors' growth alongside his own over a 13-year partnership.
Paradise City Sales will handle international distribution for "We Are All Strangers," excluding Mainland China, Singapore, and Malaysia, with Rediance distributing in China. The film's production is supported by the Singapore Film Commission, the Red Sea Fund, and the MPA APSA Academy Film Fund, underscoring its anticipated impact on the global film stage.
