Anne Hathaway's Spicy Pregnancy Ban

Anne Hathaway recently shared that a doctor's orders have prevented her from appearing on the popular interview series 'Hot Ones.' Due to her pregnancy with her third child, she was advised against consuming spicy foods, which are central to the show's format.

Hathaway had filmed a scene for her movie 'Verity,' adapted from a Colleen Hoover novel, where her character, Verity Crawford, was on 'Hot Ones.' While she initially intended to do the press for the film on the show, her pregnancy made it impossible. She confirmed that the film 'Verity' is set to release on October 2nd.

This marks Hathaway's fifth press tour of the year, promoting films like 'Mother Mary' and 'The Devil Wears Prada 2.' She anticipates taking a few months off after her child's expected arrival later this year. She humorously told Entertainment Tonight she would "vanish in a plume of smoke" on October 3rd, returning to filming in March 2027 for 'Days of Thunder 2.'

'Verity' is scheduled for theatrical release on October 5th, distributed by Amazon MGM.
