Hathaway on Andrews' Princess Diaries 3 Absence

Anne Hathaway recently shared her thoughts on Julie Andrews' confirmed absence from the anticipated Princess Diaries 3. Hathaway stated she will particularly miss Andrews' sense of humor on set as she returns to her role as Mia Thermopolis. Andrews, who starred as Hathaway's royal grandmother in the first two films, revealed earlier this week that she would not be part of the new project.

Hathaway, who was honored as a Disney Legend at the D23 convention in Anaheim, California, expressed her commitment to bringing the film to fruition. She acknowledged that a prior commitment to 'The Devil Wears Prada 2' had made focusing on both projects simultaneously impossible.
