Born in Hollywood, Robinson's acting journey began as a stuntwoman. She gained significant recognition as Sylvia Van Buren in "The War of the Worlds," a film based on H.G. Wells' novel, where she and Gene Barry's character fought off invading Martians.
Robinson had a memorable interaction with Steven Spielberg, who directed the 2005 remake of "War of the Worlds." Spielberg invited her and Barry to reprise their iconic scene, an experience she described as being treated like royalty.
Her early career included doubling for other actresses and working as an extra. Robinson also had roles in "The Story of Molly X" and "Black Midnight," and served as an extra in "A Place in the Sun."

In the 1960s, Robinson guest-starred on numerous television shows, including "Perry Mason" and "77 Sunset Strip." She is survived by her son and grandchildren.
