Ankita Lokhande, known for her role in 'Pavitra Rishta,' recently shared glimpses of her vacation in Abu Dhabi with her husband, Vicky Jain. In several photos posted on social media, Lokhande was seen wearing a hijab while visiting a mosque.

While some users praised the couple, a significant portion of netizens criticized Lokhande for wearing the hijab, with some questioning her religious choices. Comments ranged from direct questions about her need to wear a hijab to remarks about her religious identity.

However, supporters defended Lokhande, explaining that a hijab is a common dress code for entry into mosques, similar to temple attire. This is not the first time the actress has faced scrutiny for wearing a hijab; a similar incident occurred in 2025 when she was photographed at an airport wearing one.
