Ankita Lokhande Shares Nostalgic 'Pavitra Rishta' Video, Honors Sushant Singh Rajput's Legacy

In September 2025, Ankita Lokhande took fans down memory lane by sharing an old video from her and Sushant Singh Rajput's hit television show 'Pavitra Rishta'. The clip shows the on-screen couple, Archana and Manav, dressed in traditional attire and holding dandiya sticks, reminding viewers of the chemistry that made them household names.

Ankita and Sushant's bond extended beyond the screen as well. While playing the lead roles, the two actors began dating and were together for seven years before parting ways. 'Pavitra Rishta', produced by Ektaa Kapoor, remains one of the most beloved daily soaps of its time, celebrating its 15-year anniversary in 2024.

Ankita, who portrayed Archana, has often expressed her gratitude towards Sushant for his support and guidance during the show's run. She has said that the role has become her identity, and she feels she was destined to play the character. Sushant's untimely passing in June 2020 was a profound loss, but Ankita continues to keep his memory alive through such tributes.
