Anjaan Re-release Fails Due to KDM Glitch

The much-anticipated re-release of Suriya's 2014 action film 'Anjaan' on November 28, 2025, has been unexpectedly halted due to KDM (Key Delivery Message) issues. This technical problem led to the cancellation of numerous shows across various locations, including Madurai, Erode, Tiruppur, and Puducherry, much to the dismay of the film's dedicated fanbase who had eagerly prepared for its theatrical return.

Despite the original film receiving mixed reviews upon its initial release, Suriya's powerful performance and mass screen presence have ensured 'Anjaan' retains a significant following. Fans had organized extensively for phantom shows, highlighting the enduring popularity of the stylish action drama. The current setbacks have cast a shadow over the re-release prospects, with organizers working diligently to rectify the technical glitches.

Director Lingusamy had reportedly considered a sequel if the re-release performed well.
