Crunchyroll is set to host its first-ever Anime Future Forum, a premier, invitation-only gathering for the anime industry. This significant event will take place on October 7th at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City, strategically held the day before New York Comic Con commences at the same venue. Over 400 influential figures from the anime sector are expected to attend.
The summit's theme, 'Designing for Anime's Future,' underscores its forward-looking agenda. Headlining the speaker lineup are acclaimed filmmaker Guillermo del Toro and DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn. Additionally, directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, known for Sony's upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will participate in a panel.
Further bolstering the esteemed roster, Sony Group Corp. president and CEO Hiroki Totoki will deliver opening remarks.
