The director of the film Blindspotting revealed in a recent Reddit AMA that a planned live-action-animated hybrid film is officially canceled. He expressed disappointment, stating that the project held special, original potential, including unique musical compositions.
He further indicated a desire to potentially revive the concept independently, perhaps with new characters. This development follows news from 2020 regarding a planned Disney remake of the 1973 animated film Robin Hood for Disney+.
