Prime Video is set to release a new adult animated comedy series on March 20th, focusing on a cat named Kevin. This series explores the unexpected breakup of Kevin's human owners and the subsequent upheaval in his life.
Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert are executive producing and developing the show. Jason Schwartzman lends his voice to Kevin, the feline protagonist, and also penned the show's theme song, "I'm Coming Home."
The narrative is loosely inspired by a real-life breakup, centering on Kevin's journey after abandonment. He eventually settles into a pet rescue in Astoria, Queens, where he encounters a diverse cast of animal characters who aid him in self-discovery.
Supporting roles are filled by notable actors such as Whoopi Goldberg, John Waters, and Aparna Nacherla, who befriend Kevin at the shelter. Gil Ozeri plays the shelter's manager, Seth, and Amy Sedaris voices Seth's dog, Brandi.
