Angel Du$t's New Album: Punk Grit Meets Psych-Rock Bliss

Angel Du$t's sixth album, COLD 2 THE TOUCH, marks a significant shift, finding a compelling balance between unadorned punk and experimental explorations. Frontman Justin Tripp delves back into heavier, wearier, and more defiant themes, reminiscent of his earlier work, on this new collection of songs released in 2026. The album's sound is a notable departure from the band's softer, cozier recent material, hardening into a brisk antagonism.

COLD 2 THE TOUCH successfully merges hardcore loyalty with experimental hybrids, offering some of the most compelling Angel Du$t tracks in years. Songs like "Zero" fuse Southern-rock influences with hardcore rhythms, while "DU$T" transitions from acoustic balladry to intense powerviolence. The album also features guest vocalists from prominent hardcore bands, signaling a renewed connection to the genre's origins.
