Andrew Ridgeley Shines at Wham! China Doc Screening

Andrew Ridgeley recently appeared in London for a special screening of the documentary "Wham! 10 Days in China." The film chronicles the pop duo's historic 1985 trip to China, incorporating archival footage and new interviews.

Ridgeley, who co-founded Wham! with George Michael in 1981, reflected on their enduring legacy. He noted that Michael's music continues to connect with audiences a decade after his passing in 2016 because it addresses fundamental human emotions.

Following Wham!'s split in 1986, Ridgeley pursued other interests before embracing a more private life. He spoke to NME about his immense pride in Michael's artistic development and their lifelong friendship.

Ridgeley also discussed the profound void left by Michael's untimely death. He expressed a desire for simple, shared moments, like having lunch and playing Scrabble with his best friend again.
