Shehzad Khan, son of veteran actor Ajit, offered a different perspective on the production of the iconic film Andaz Apna Apna. While rumors of a feud between co-stars Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor have long circulated, Khan stated that his personal experience on set was largely devoid of such drama, describing a warm, family-like atmosphere. He even recalled instances of biryani being shared from Salman Khan's residence, adding to the camaraderie.

Khan's most significant revelation involved his casting as Bhalla. Director Rajkumar Santoshi insisted that Khan emulate his father Ajit's distinct voice and style for the character. This directive initially caused friction at home, with Ajit expressing displeasure over the imitation. However, Khan accepted the challenge, believing the audience's appreciation for his father's persona warranted its continuation through him.

Reflecting on his early career, Khan emphasized persistence, mentioning his work in films like Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Purani Haveli. He credited Rajkumar Santoshi for backing him, particularly for the Bhalla role, and expressed his satisfaction that the audience embraced his performance, allowing them to experience a semblance of the beloved actor Ajit.
