The release of the upcoming romantic action entertainer 'Anbil Avan', directed by R Kaarthikeyan and featuring Ashok Selvan and Priety Mukhundan, has been rescheduled. The film, initially slated for a worldwide premiere on September 25, 2026, will now arrive in theaters on October 2, 2026.
The decision to postpone the release by one week was made by the producers in response to the "overwhelming love and support" received for the film's trailer and promotional materials. They expressed gratitude for the audience's trust and affection.
Makers acknowledged that the delay is a step to ensure 'Anbil Avan' reaches audiences with the scale, reach, and care it deserves. The film has been a labor of love for nearly two years, and the producers are eager to share the story.
The trailer hints at a narrative involving marital challenges, personal struggles, and significant action sequences. It begins with Ashok Selvan's character introducing his wife, Iyal, and their devotion to each other. The story appears to unfold against the backdrop of a star hotel and later a hill station, where the couple faces disturbing incidents and persistent fear.
