Summary
- Game features anime-inspired visuals and martial arts combat.
- Players can learn Shaolin kung fu and other fighting styles.
- Monetization model avoids character-gacha mechanics.

Ananta, a game initially known as Project Mugen, is set to launch in January. This follows the anticipated November release of GTA VI. The game presents a striking anime-inspired aesthetic blended with open-world exploration.
Players will explore Chongxiao, a new city inspired by Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo, which introduces martial arts combat. Players can learn techniques like Shaolin kung fu from in-game masters. This city joins Nova City, which draws comparisons to GTA's Vice City.
The protagonist, Captain, belongs to the ACD, a peacekeeping organization. The character searches for a missing father while working to restore the ACD's reputation. Gameplay mechanics include extensive traversal options such as parkour, grappling, and swinging, with no stamina limitations.
A significant aspect of Ananta's design is its monetization strategy. The developers have confirmed that the game will not employ a character-gacha system. Instead, playable characters will be made available to players through the progression of the game itself.
