Amy Gadiaga: Jazz Princess Crowns Herself

Amy Gadiaga, a jazz artist based in London and Paris, has released a new EP titled BabyGoated. The four-track release is a genre-fluid suite that delves into themes of self-empowerment and self-celebration, playfully exploring both the joys and potential perils of building oneself up. Gadiaga, who also plays bass, showcases her evolving sound, moving from a more formal jazz dialect on her previous EP to a syncretic approach on BabyGoated.

This new work fuses neo-soul and experimental impulses with jazz, incorporating slang in both English and French.
