Amitabh Bachchan Encourages Women to Proudly Embrace Homemaker Role

In a heartfelt message, Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has urged women to speak proudly about their roles as homemakers. During his interactions with the female audience on the popular game show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 17', Bachchan observed that when asked about their occupation, many women would respond in a hushed voice, saying they are homemakers.

Bachchan encouraged these women to instead say it with pride, emphasizing that managing a household is no easy task. He highlighted the various responsibilities involved, such as caring for the husband and children, cooking meals, and overseeing all household duties. The COVID-19 pandemic, Bachchan noted, had helped men better understand the immense effort required by homemakers.

Alongside his praise for homemakers, Bachchan also congratulated the Indian women's cricket team for their recent victory against Pakistan in the World Cup. This achievement, he said, is a testament to the growing empowerment and success of Indian women in various spheres.
