On November 12, 2025, the latest episode of the popular quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati 17 (KBC 17) aired, featuring a special appearance by a group of stand-up comedians. Hosted by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan, the episode offered viewers a dose of laughter alongside the show's usual quiz-based format.
The comedians, including Harsh Gujral, Abhishek Upmanyu, Ravi Gupta, and Anubhav Bassi, visited the KBC 17 sets, adding their unique brand of humor to the proceedings. However, the real surprise came when Amitabh Bachchan himself took the stage and tried his hand at stand-up comedy for the first time.
The 83-year-old actor showcased his comedic timing, joking about the "power of lemon" that seems to be infused in various household products, from dishwashing soap to face wash. Bachchan quipped that he only consumes lemon in shikanji (lemonade) or achar (pickle), earning laughter and applause from the comedians and the audience.
In another memorable moment, Bachchan recited his iconic dialogue from the 1978 film Don, "Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi namumkin hai," at the request of comedian Harsh Gujral. The comedian jokingly replied, "I'm calling the police and informing them that we have found Don," further adding to the hilarity of the situation.
Amitabh Bachchan's effortless charm and humor once again proved why he remains one of Bollywood's most beloved and versatile stars, seamlessly blending quiz, comedy, and entertainment on KBC 17.
